In response to environmental protection needs, some companies have developed biodegradable defoamers using vegetable oil as raw material, filling the domestic gap. Secondly, there is the problem of insufficient collaboration in the industrial chain. Due to limitations in raw materials, outdated formulation processes, and insufficient research and development investment, the localization rate of core raw material industries is low, and some still need to be imported. Therefore, domestic defoamer companies should collaborate with raw material companies to reduce supply chain costs. In addition, in terms of market education, enterprises can collaborate with universities and research institutes to tackle the synthesis technology of key raw materials, and gradually replace imported products through domestic independent research and development of organic silicon defoamers.
